Weekend research talk: Sarnak on the Riemann Hypothesis

Peter Sarnak of Princeton University is one of the world's leading experts on the Riemann Hypothesis. Last week a very nice talk was posted on the Harvard CMSA YouTube channel, where Sarnak reviews what is known about the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis and various approaches that have been tried.

If you want something nice to watch this weekend, Sarnak's talk is pure gold. Even if you cannot follow all the technical details, you will get a good idea of how Sarnak thinks about the problem, what concepts he believes are important, and so on.
