Another introductory lecture on what L-functions are
Last week I shared an introductory talk by Ram Murty aiming to answer the question "What is an L-function?".
Today I'm driving from Paris to Groningen, and on the way (from a McDonalds near Antwerp) I just want to share one other talk in the same spirit, this one being perhaps a bit more technical and geared towards how to actually compute things. The speaker is Karim Belabas, one of the brains behind the amazing PARI/GP computer algebra system. You will recognize some code snippets from the RH Saga videos and from other posts here at this site. Enjoy!
